Based in the “Matrix Biology Laboratory” on the campus of NCU, Dr. Hsu and his team applied the world’s cutting-edge technology to analyzing characteristics of one single immunocyte in the tissues of kidney cancer, researching on new prevention mechanism and targeted therapy and finding fresh turning points for innovative translational research.

Ms. Duann Yi, a graduate student at the Graduate Institute of Space Science (GISS) at NCU, teamed up with fellow students William Evonovsky from the University of Colorado and Kaustubh Anand Kandi from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) to participate in the Pre5th Mission Idea Contest (MIC) established by University Space Engineering Consortium (UNISEC) in Rome, Italy, at the end of 2017.

“The Great American Eclipse,” the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, caught the world’s attention and attracted more than 1.47 million Instagramers to click like on the photo of the eclipse on NASA’s Instagram page.

The Photovoltaic Efficiency Verification Laboratory (PVEVL) in the Research Center for New Generation Photovoltaics (RCNPV), National Central University (NCU) successfully acquired the ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation from the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) in 2017. It is the first accredited solar cell calibration laboratory own by a university in Taiwan.

Located in Liberal Arts Building II at National Central University (NCU), the first Kunqu Opera Museum in Taiwan presented its Grand Opening on 2017 Nov. 23th. Among the waves of pine trees, a winding corridor flows Kunqu’s artistic beauty.
