I. Check-out Time for the 1st Semester of the 114th Academic Year: Before 13:00 on 115/1/31 (Sat)
(1) Target Audience: Students residing in the dormitory this semester who have canceled their accommodation for the 114-2 semester (those who have already given up their next semester’s dormitory spot, exchange students for the 114-1 semester only, or students leaving the university after the 114-1 semester).
(2) Current residents wishing to give up their dormitory bed for the 114-2 semester should refer to the "Announcement Regarding the Application Process for Non-renewal of Dormitory Accommodation for the 2nd Semester of the 114th Academic Year".
(3) Students leaving the university after the 114-1 semester must complete the check-out procedure before finalizing their departure process, no later than the time specified above (13:00 on 115/1/31). Those checking out after the specified time must pay the accommodation fees for late check-out as described in Point III.

II. Check-in Time for the 2nd Semester of the 114th Academic Year: From 10:00 on 115/2/1(Sun) (24-hour format)
(1) Target Audience: Students applying for waitlisted accommodation for the 114-2 semester (including 114-2 exchange students and newly admitted students for 114-2).
(2) Those requiring early check-in must pay the accommodation fee for January.
(3) Students waitlisted for the 114-2 semester must show the QR code of their approved bed space at the dormitory guard station to complete the check-in procedure. Path: Log in to the Portal -> Service Counter (iNCU) -> Student Affairs Area -> Dormitory Application/Inquiry -> Personal Historical Application Data Inquiry -> 114th 2nd Semester -> View Details -> Display QR code. The system status will change to "Checked In" after moving in.
(4) Upon check-in, please confirm receipt of the gold key, verify that the room cleanliness meets standards, and check if any room equipment needs repair. If there are any issues, please report them immediately to the dormitory guard station. After the system status changes to "Checked In", please log into the system to fill in your personal and room equipment information. If there are issues, please use the repair system to report them. III. Explanation of Accommodation Fees for Late Check-out
Check-out Time Fees Required
2/1-2/22 1. For those leaving the university: Pay February accommodation fee.
2. For those not leaving the university: Pay February accommodation fee and 1/7 of the semester's accommodation fee.
* Students who apply for non-renewal of accommodation (including completing check-out procedures) late for the 114-2 semester must pay 1/7 of the semester's accommodation fee, calculated based on the full 114-2 semester accommodation fee (excluding MOE subsidies). After verifying with the amount already paid in tuition and fees by the late check-out student, any overpayment will be refunded; any shortfall must be paid.

IV. Check-out Inspection Standards:
(1) Keys: The gold key plated with "National Central University/Dormitory" must be returned.
(2) Room Cleanliness Standards: Personal areas in the room must be cleared out, the floor must be swept clean, all drawers and cabinets must be emptied and left open, and no items or trash are allowed in the corridor area outside the room door. For suite rooms, the bathroom tiles, floor, partition stains, washbasin, mirror, shelf, and toilet must be brushed and cleaned thoroughly.
* Cleanliness standard posters have been posted on the bulletin boards of each dormitory, or you can refer to the Dormitory Service Division website / Student Information / Dormitory Cleanliness Standards webpage.
(3) Related fees must be paid for failing the dormitory check-out inspection:
1. A fine of NT$300 will be charged for unreturned keys (For Xi-Wang House, NCU House, and Female Dorm 14 1F rooms, the fine for unreturned keys is NT$1150).
2. A fine of NT$1000 per person will be charged for unsatisfactory cleanliness of personal areas or for leaving the dormitory without completing the check-out inspection; a fine of NT$600 per person will be charged for unsatisfactory cleanliness of public areas. Compensation/deduction will be charged at the original price for man-made damage to room equipment.

V. Other Matters:
(1) Refrigerator cleaning in each dormitory during the winter vacation will be carried out by the respective dormitory officers.
(2) If you plan to be away from the university for a long time during the winter vacation, please remember to take your valuables with you, lock your room doors and windows, dispose of any items stored in communal refrigerators beforehand, and park your bicycles in designated areas and lock them securely, to avoid not finding your bike upon returning to school.
(3) Students leaving the university during the winter vacation must first complete the 114-1 semester check-out inspection, forfeit their 114-2 semester bed space, and pay any overdue check-out accommodation fees before they can complete the university departure procedures.
(4) Motorcycle entry times: 114/12/19 (Fri) ~ 114/12/31 (Wed), 115/1/23 (Fri) ~ 115/1/31 (Sat), 115/2/20 (Fri) ~ 115/2/22 (Sun), daily from 08:00 to 21:00. Please comply with the "National Central University Motorcycle Control and Entry Regulations", exchange ID cards and register at the campus police guard post upon entry. Motorcycles may not stay overnight on campus premises; violators will be penalized according to regulations.
(5) Parent/Moving vehicle entry times: Daily from 08:00 to 21:00, no overnight parking allowed. You may register at the dormitory guard station and collect a temporary vehicle entry permit. When leaving the university, please use the manual toll booth lane to be exempted from parking fees.
(6) Visitor entry times: Daily application for room entry is permitted from 08:00 to 19:00. Please register at the dormitory guard station and exchange identification for entry. Considering the privacy and environmental tranquility of residents, visitors must leave the premises by 19:30 on the same day at the latest.
(7) Used textbook recycling: Collection points are set up at the dormitory guard stations and the main library from now until February 6th. Only genuine textbooks will be accepted.
