NCU Women’s Basketball Team won the second place in Class B of UBA and thus elevated to Class A, which was extremely inspiring for the team and the coach!

Prof. Chien-Ting Lin’s paper “Buddha Bless America: Militarized Medical Humanitarianism and Cold War Humanism” has recently won the 2016 Yasuo Sakakibara Prize of the American Studies Association. Only one article would be honored with the award each year.

The team led by NCU has been in the US$10M Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE, the largest medical competition in history. Now they advances to be one of the top two finalist teams contending for the world championship!

Over 500 international students, from over 30 different countries gathered to participate in TICA Cup. NCU conquered two trophies, winning second place on the “Every Body Shoots” competition.

Dr. Philip Liu Li-fan, chair professor of the Graduate Institute of Hydrological and Oceanic Sciences, has been elected as an academician of Academia Sinica in this year. Staying curious is his key to staying joyful.
